Milestones
In 1985, Mr. Wang Qizhang, the founder of Zhenpai, officially entered the hydrocolloid manufacturing industry specializing in red algae polysaccharides. He established the agar processing factory (Yongning Xiazhai Marine Chemical Factory) in Jinjiang County.
In 1991, the formal establishment of Shishi Xiaguang Seaweed Industry Co., Ltd. marked a significant milestone: becoming the very first carrageenan production facility in China. The company officially launched its ambitious plan in carrageenan research and production.
In 2003, Shishi Xieli Marine Biochemical Co., Ltd. was established (later renamed "Zhenpai Xieli (Fujian) Food Technology Co., Ltd."). This marked a commitment to this field, consolidating the foundation of the company.
In 2013, Zhenpai Hydrocolloids Co., Ltd. was founded, marking a crucial step towards the expansion of carrageenan and agar businesses.
In March 2021, following the successful acquisition of equipment, technology, and marketing channels from Putian Jingyi, Zhenpai (Fujian) achieved another significant milestone. In June of the same year, it successfully acquired 100% equity of Fujian Ansheng Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd., subsequently renaming it Fujian Jingyi Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. These strategic moves further propel Zhenpai towards the goal of expanding and strengthening the enterprise.
In 2023, Zhenpai closely follows the rhythm of the times, seizing the opportunities for development, invested significantly in establishing a research center in the international metropolis of Shanghai. This move will effectively enhance our brand image, expand our international influence, create competitive advantages, inject new vitality into our enterprise's development, and open a new chapter in the Zhenpai journey.
